Chris “Noddy” Mansbridge has over 25 years’ experience playing drums, initially picking up the sticks when he was just a boy. Forming his first bands (such as Fellsilent) in his teenage years, Chris began gigging across the country and discovered his passion for playing live music. Chris then turned to academia to continue his passion, which saw him learn directly alongside award winning musicians.
As well as his time in Fellsilent (who’s debut full length album “The Hidden Words” is now considered a pioneering record in modern metal) Chris has stepped in to play with Enter Shikari on multiple American tours, supporting a variety of big name acts such acts as A Day To Remember and Asking Alexandria. Following this he went to BIMM London and gained a diploma in popular music performance.
Continuing to play in metal bands, Chris joined the metal outfit Heart of a Coward from his home town (Milton Keynes). The band now enjoy a strong international following and have played the UK, Europe, Russia and Asia both headlining and supporting bands such as Sikth, Machine Head and Trivium. Additionally Chris attended the London Drum show in 2018 and performed on both days as a member of the Natal/Marshall family.
In 2015 Chris and fellow drummer Kev Hickman founded Rhythm Room musical school, where they currently teach a large group of regular students, spanning a wide range of ages and abilities, helping them to become successful musicians in their own right. For Chris, drumming has never been just a hobby, it has been a purpose.
